May I be the first to wish you a Happy New Year! Absurd ? well , it is 1 week before Thanksgiving and Christmas trees are up in the city squares and ready to be decorated....stores have been decked out for the Xmas season since the day after Halloween the endless TV ads for toys and trinkets ( that very few will be able to afford this year )are underway....couldn't " commerce" wait just a few weeks....by the time the actual holiday rolls around most people are so stressed out that the feeling of " thank heavens, that's over" replaces any celebratory spirit.
